Ticketing InformationTypes of TicketsThere are a variety of tickets available, categorised as Adult, Family (2 adults and 2 children), and Child (5 – 15yrs). Children under 5 yrs are free. All tickets sold prior to the festival are weekend tickets only which are exchanged for wristbands at the Festival Box Office on arrival in Cygnet. The Box Office in Cygnet will be open from 11am on Wednesday 9th January 2013. If you are thinking of coming just for a day, day tickets will be available at the Festival. There are numerous venues in operation in Cygnet during the weekend and tickets will give you access to all venues but do not guarantee you a seat at a particular concert at a particular time. A venue can be full at any time and you will need to seek out another venue. Tickets are limited so book early to get the best Earlybird discount and get to the venue of first choice early. Earlybird TicketsThese go on sale on the 1st September. This year, for the first time, Earlybird tickets are limited in availability according to a time period. (See table below). If the available Earlybird tickets for a time period sell out, then the next period’s tickets become available at the higher price. All Earlybird tickets finish on Friday 21st December 2013 after that you pay full price. They make great Christmas presents. Volunteer TicketsIf you are planning to volunteer, and you haven’t volunteered before and/or we do not know you, you may be asked to pay for a standard weekend ticket ($80) the cost of which will be refunded to you on completion of your allocated tasks. These are special tickets available to volunteers only and is based on a minimum of 10 hours of volunteering. These tickets are available at this link at trybooking.com. Go Online to BookAlso, this year, for the first time, you book and pay for your tickets on-line and print your own ticket, much as many do with airline tickets. If you are unable to access a computer and printer, you can book and pay in person (over the counter only) via our ticket sub-agents at the Cygnet Telecottage, 14 Mary St, Cygnet, and at the Ecohaven shop, 71 Murray St, Hobart. These sub-agents will not accept phone calls. Any enquiries to the festival on 03 6295 0202. Special Friday WorkshopsThis year, we are running a special longer workshop program on the Friday. If you are interested in these workshops, (numbers are limited), you need to book and pay separately. The 4 hr workshops, beginning at 11.30am and finishing at 4pm with a half hour break, are Guitar with Richard Gilewitz (USA), Songwriting with Kristina Olsen (USA), Accordian with Peter Anderson (VIC), and Fiddle with Lindsay Martin (NSW). Workshop tickets are $50 and limited to 15 persons per workshop. You can book at trybooking.com. The Festival ticket does not cover these workshops. Your Festival ticket does, however, cover other shorter workshops during the Festival.
