Ticketing Information

Types of Tickets

There are a variety of tickets available, categorised as Adult, Family (2 adults and 2 children), Youth (13-17 years) and Child (5 – 12 years). Children under 5 yrs are free. All tickets sold prior to the festival are camping and weekend tickets only which are exchanged for wristbands at the Festival Box Office on arrival in Cygnet.

The Box Office in Cygnet will be open from 11am on Wednesday 7th January 2015.

Please note: Day tickets are only available at the Festival from the Box Office

There are numerous venues in operation in Cygnet during the weekend and tickets will give you access to all venues but do not guarantee you a seat at a particular concert at a particular time. A venue can be full at any time and you will need to seek out another venue.

Tickets are limited so book early to get the best Earlybird discount.

Camping Tickets

Camping tickets are required for Festival patrons aged over 12 years who wish to camp in the Festival campground. A camping ticket is priced at $20 per person. For children up to and including 12 years of age camping is free, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that all children camping with an adult will still require a wristband to camp in the campground. Wristbands are available from the Festival Box Office at the time of registration.

Earlybird Tickets

These go on sale on 1 September 2014.  Earlybird discounted tickets are available in September, October and November 2014, and are limited in availability.  Earlybird discounted tickets finish on 30 November 2014. They make great Christmas presents.

Special Friday Workshops and Masterclasses

We will be running a series of workshops and Masterclasses on Friday, 9 January 2015 (11am -3.30pm with half an hour for lunch), for which you will need to purchase a separate Friday Masterclass Ticket. The Festival ticket does not cover these Friday Masterclasses, but will cover other shorter workshops during the Festival.

In 2015 the Cygnet Folk Festival will continue the successful Masterclass series that began only last year. These classes are programmed separately from the festival, on the Friday preceding the opening of the festival. The cost is only $50 for a 4 hour Masterclass with musicians and a storyteller, all of whom are truly leaders in their fields. The instrumental sessions will all conclude with the three groups combining forces to learn a piece, which participants will perform on stage at the festival.

We hope to see you all honing your skills.
