The Cygnet Folk Festival is a non-profit event run by the community for the community. The Cygnet Folk Festival relies on its volunteers and needs around 190 to make it operate over the course of the weekend. Volunteer jobs are varied: some are very involved, while others are quite straightforward, some are physical and others are more administrative.

Before completing the Volunteer Application form below, you must confirm that you have read the Volunteer Guidelines and General Information.

4. Camping

Free camping is available for volunteers in the Burtons Reserve Festival Camp ground - refer to the Festival Camp Ground page for details of facilities. Camping in Burtons Reserve is available from the Wednesday prior to the Festival until the Monday afternoon immediately following the Festival and cannot be extended beyond these times. Please note that the Festival receives special permission to use the Burtons Reserve bird sanctuary for camping and dogs or other animals are not permitted. If you are camping you will need to bring your own tent and camping equipment.
